  3. Glorietta Bay Pump Station • Repair/Maintenance Needed • Pump rails • Pump(s) • Station has 4 pumps; one is a redundant pump • One is currently non-operational and can’t be removed because the lifting handle has deteriorated • Interior piping • Sludge removal • Lining/Structural repairs

  4. Recommended Action • Authorize staff to advertise the pump station repairs including: (wet-well by-pass not required) • Repair of rail system • Repair of pump(s) • Removal of built-up sludge • Evaluation of liner and structure • Evaluation of the discharge piping • Work to be completed by May 31, 2013 • Phase II of the project would be repairs to the concrete and wet well liner (wet-well by-pass required) • Work would not commence until after summer 2013
