  7. City of Huntsville Water System Capacity Study (Crespo Consulting Services, Inc.) • Required water supply capacity (2011) is 11.9 MGD • Firm capacity is currently 9.0 to 9.3 MGD • Firm capacity is approximately 3 MGD below the TCEQ required water supply capacity

WTP Improvement Project • Nitrate Removal: Add 4 GAC filters with nitrate removal capability • Meet CT (disinfection) requirements at WTP: Add 1.2 MG clearwell • Aging High Service Pumps: Install 4 new high service pumps on new clearwell • New backwash pumps • Chemical feed facilities improvements • Electrical and instrumentation improvements
