  3. AP EXAMS: The deadline for turning in your registration form is today, March 6!

  4. COACH EVALUATIONS: All winter athletes should do their coach evaluations by today, Wed, March 6. On Thurs, March 7, we will be asking you to do them during the lunch hour if you have not completed them. You can find the evaluations on our website. Go to HS Athletics, then to "forms" and then down to 'links.“ See Mr. Bouma if you have questions. 

  5. FOOTBALL MEETING: Any boy who is interested in playing football this fall should come to a meeting in the LC at 7:00 p.m. tonight (Wed).   6. ATTENTION SENIORS: Orders are due TOMORROW, Thurs, March 7. The Jostens rep will be here at lunch to take your orders.

  7. SCHEDULING OF CLASSES FOR 2019-20 By now all students should have completed course requests for the next school year. If not, you need to see your counselor to get your selections completed.

  8. BLOOD DRIVE DATE: Tuesday, March 12 TIME: 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Sign up in the office byThursday, March 7, if you wish to donate blood. You must be 16 or older to donate.

  9. BEAN BAG TOSS TOURNAMENT DATE: Saturday, March 16 Time to sign up to participate in this annual fund raiser event. Forms are available in theoffice or follow this link: http://bit.ly/bagtoss2019

  10. KENT CAREER TECH CENTEROPEN HOUSE DATE: Tomorrow, Thurs, March 7, 2019 TIME: 5 – 7 p.m. Check out all of the high school programs on Kent ISD’s campus!

  11. GUATEMALAN EXCHANGE INFO MEETING: Interested in going to Guatemala this coming summer in an exchange program for 2-4 weeks? Mrs. Rozema and Mrs. Teusink will be hosting an informational meeting in CCHS Room 98 on Tues, March 12, at 7:00 p.m. for interested students and their parents. Email Mrs. Rozema, krozema@gccsmi.org, with any questions or more information.

  12. JOURNEY TO THE PROM: Donations of gently-used prom dresses are requested for this organization’s needs to make prom dresses available free-of-charge to those who desire. The PICK-OUT-A-DRESS DAY is Sat, March 23. Appointments start at 9:00 a.m. No money is required, but you need to reserve a spot. Email Journeytotheprom@gmail.com to do so.

  13. Spanish Immersion Parent Meeting: High School Program Parents of CCMS & CCHS Spanish Immersion students are invited to attend an informational meeting about our high school immersion program on Monday, March 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the Learning Commons.  We will review which courses will be offered in Spanish each year, provide more details about the Calvin College partnership for 11th & 12th grade, and answer any questions. Students are also welcome to attend!  Please email Katy Rozema, krozema@gccsmi.org, with any questions.

  15. SPRING SPORTS: Time to purchase your Pay-to-Participate card in the CCHS office if you plan on participating on a spring sports team. You will need a current health form on file and $95 to acquire a card before the1st tryout date. No card = no tryout/practice.

  16. JOB OPPORTUNITY: GCS is looking for 1-2 students to work in our After School Care. If you love to hang out with and care for elementary-aged children after school and are available on M-W-F’s from 3 - 6 pm, we need you!
