  1. Houston drainage: mid term

  2. Intent: Turn the flooded land around the bayou into an amenity. Slow down the water drainage of areas around the bayou so that the bayous do not become overwhelmed. Design these developments to flood with little permanent damage. Use the built environment to move and store runoff as it flows down to the bayou.

  3. Water as an amenity: Capture and store water so that it can be used later for things such as: creating vibrant new spaces doing some kind of work for the inhabitants such as power generation store the water so that it can be slowly released into the bayou
