  1. Service Awards Program Honors staff members who achieve milestone with NC State University in 5 year increments. SPA/LEO- State service|| EPA- NCSU service Employees receive a lapel pin and service certificate of service by their department. HR notifies employees about their service gift and ordering is done online. 25 year honorees will be honored during the Quarter Century Breakfast. http://go.ncsu.edu/service

  2. Flu Shot Clinics State Health Plan and Maxim Healthcare are teaming up to provide seasonal flu shot clinics. Nurses will provide shots at no cost, for faculty, staff, retirees and dependents enrolled in the State Health Plan, BCBS Plan or Medicare. The State Health Plan and New Hires Per GS 135-48 and effective July 1, 2012: “Employees who do not elect to enroll themselves or dependents on the Plan when first eligible within 30 days of hire will not be allowed to enroll in the Plan unless they experience a qualifying life event or during Annual Enrollment. There will be no exceptions to this rule.”
