  1. Lets Change The World By: Christian Frazier

  2. What is Global Warming? Global Warming is the earth overheating caused my chemicals, toxic fumes, poisonous gasses, smoke, and etc.

  3. Cause of Global Warming ______ __ _______ __ _________ ______ _______ __ ____ __ ________ __ __________ _____ ____ ___ ____ _ __________ ___ ___ __________ _____ ___ _____ __ ___ __________ __ ______ __ ____ ___ _____ ____ __ Garbage The garbage is sometimes burned, leading to lots of emission of greenhouse gases into the Earth’s atmosphere. When the greenhouse gases get stuck in the atmosphere it starts to make the earth warm up.

  4. Cause of Global Warming Heating Most heat systems burns natural gases, which gives off carbon dioxide. Carbon Dioxide is a greenhouse gas.

  5. How Does Global Warming Effect the Planet? Global Warming affects the planet because it’s heats up the earth to ridiculous temperatures.

  6. What Can We Do To Make It Better? Car Pool Turn off all unused lights Recycle Taking the bus

  7. What Do Hurricanes Have to Do with Global Warming? An increase in water temperatures in big bodies of water causes the speed of the wind to increase right above the water and air becomes a lot more humid. All these are perfect conditions for hurricanes and tropical storms to develop.

  8. Hurricane Katrina In 2005, New Orleans, Louisiana the city was destroyed by a horrible wind called Hurricane Katrina. When Hurricane Katrina moved over the Gulf of Mexico, the water was unusually warm. When it comes to hurricanes, the more heat that is put into them, the faster they’re going to run. As a result, the wind became faster and faster, turning into one of the deadliest hurricanes ever.

  9. What Happened After the Hurricane? This is when it hit the city of New Orleans, causing terrible damage to people and the environment. People as well as animals died: Houses, schools and hospitals were destroyed, and flooding also occurred. In some cases, the water even filled up entire houses!! The results were catastrophic.

  10. What is Energy? Energy is the ability to do work. Some things we use energy for every day the oven. Difference between renewable and non-renewable energy is with renewable energy you could use it over and over. But, with non-renewable energy after you use it it’s gone.

  11. [Source of Non-Renewable energy] You burn fossil fuel then the fuel will convert into energy. Benefits of this source of energy is it heats homes, helps heat food, dry's clothes, and etc. This energy affects the environment by polluting the earth.

  12. [Source of Renewable energy] Renewable energy works by solar, wind, geothermal energy from heat inside the Earth, and etc. This kind of energy doesn’t pollute the earth. It helps not pollute the earth.

  13. What is Recycling? • Recycle is just save you recyclable items to use for something else because we wont pollute the earth anymore. • The 3 R’s: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle • plastic bottles, scrap metal, and aluminum cansare all recyclable.

  14. Why Should We Recycle? • We should recycle because we can save energy. • A second reason why we should recycle is because we wont pollute the earth anymore.

  15. How Do We Recycle? First, you start buying recyclable products and that will reduce the price you usually pay for. Second after you done with you products you put it in the recycling bin or use it for a different cause. Then you are Recycling.
