A bit of history… • 1923- “Employment service” created in conjunction with the work of the National Alumni Association • 1933- Bobby Jones ’22 stressed the importance of job search assistance and connection with alumni • 1953-The Bulletin, printed job listings sent to alumni weekly, was issued • 1984- First Alumni Career Conference 2000- JobNet, the Alumni Association’s online job board • 2008- JacketNet Jobs replaced JobNet

  4. Career Advisement • Approximately 40 alumni per month in in-person or phone appointments • Subjects discussed range from resume and interview preparation to job search techniques and discussion on career direction • Variety of experience levels and career areas represented

Networks Leadership • Refer job seeking alumni to us for assistance • Serve as a contact for job seeking alumni • Work with us on programming • Work with CS to create area-specific Career Guides • Utilize JacketNet Jobs and the Alumni Career Fair to recruit alumni for your company. Encourage friends and business contacts to do the same!
