Friday of Anger January 28th 2011 Hundreds of thousands protested all over Cairo as well as the rest of Egypt Opposition leaders arrived in Cairo Omar Suleiman appointed Vice President Prisons were opened and then burned down Police recalled and Military sent out First deaths and violence occurred that night in Tahrir Around 800 people disappeared

  4. Camel Battle February 2nd 2011 Pro Mubarak supporters ride into Tahrir Square on horses and camels Extreme violence and agression Mubarak says again that he will not step down Violence starts against Journalists and reporters

  5. Friday of Departure February 11th 2011 Riots and violence continued as Mubarak would not step down At 6 PM Vice President Omar Suleiman announced that Mubarak would step down Control of the government would be handed over to the Supreme Council of Egyptian Armed Forces

  6. Overview In total the revolution only lasted for 18 days According to the official numbers 846 people were killed and 6,000 were injured Egyptians claim, the numbers are much higher and many people have “disappeared”
