Information as a Service Today’s business challenges mandate a fresh approach to managing information. Managing information in silos has become obsolete and trusted information is not available to business users. Making Information available as a Service provides business flexibility, allows publishing consistent and reusable services that make it easier for applications, people and processes to access reliable information without knowing how or where it is stored. This enables the enterprise to apply consistent rules to data and ensures centralized control and maintenance.
Information as a Service Service Oriented Architecture(SOA)/Information as a Service will be defined by each panelist and the impact it has had on the industry and where it is leading us in the future. Each panelist will present examples of providing Information as a Service from their perceptive. Attendees of this session will learn how information has become a valuable service to our customers as a value- add though content delivery and operations support. Topics to be discussed include, but not limited to, Master Data Management, Data Integration, Application Integration, and Service HUB.
