  2. One IT project CEBS promotes the XBRL technology => An opportunity to use an open standard and to prepare the progressive evolution of the information system towards new technologies

  3. One IT project Supervisory needs in the scope of XBRL => Exchanges of financial reporting between supervisors and banks

  4. Two business domains Two european harmonised reportings with brand new type of information (COREP & FINREP) => easier for supervisors and banks to integrate a new technology

  5. The project COFINREP Conclusion • for COREP & FINREP templates, to receive XBRL instances from banks • progressively integrate XML/XBRL tools in our information system (for banks, maybe also)

  6. Conclusion • economy of scale for supervisors, banks and software industry one technical solution applied for two new business domains with parallel timetables
