  1. Document Cameras • a very exciting and visual technology for the classroom • save time, resources, and keep students focused and on-task • when connected to a projector, the entire group can see items under the camera • can display 2D and 3D items • can zoom in on the item

  2. Document Cameras • a current event from the newspaper can be placed under the document camera for the entire group • delicate objects, such as a fossil, can be viewed by all with less chance of being dropped and broken • all eyes are up front during the discussion and observation

Some Uses of Document Cameras • modeled editing • group reading from a single copy of a book • examining old photos • studying rock and mineral features • demonstrating math problems • dissecting fruit to examine it and compare the seeds. The whole class can watch as students take turns dissecting fruits and interpreting the results.
