Multicultural Services • Department in the Division of Student Affairs • Provides multiple support services for current and prospective students from underrepresented populations • Offers diversity education programs fostering inclusive learning environments for all students. • Located in Suite 2200 of the MSC
DMS Peer Tutoring Program • Free one-on-one tutorial service by students • Students have completed at least two semesters at TAMU and received at least an “A” in the courses tutored. • Outcomes • Positive interventions and/or changes will occur and impact academic performance • Improved attitude toward course work • Impact to student self-confidence by demonstrating how to achieve.
Operation • Available by appointment for one hour sessions via the online scheduling system http://tutor.tamu.edu • Multiple tutoring locations in MSC & Rudder. • Communication and updates are sent electronically • Available Sunday-Wednesday from 4:00-8:00pm; suspended on University recognized holidays and campus closings.
