Information on Fish Flies • These creatures hatch on the water’s surface and are sometimes called mayflies. • The average life span of a fish fly is 24 hours. • In North America there are 630 known species. • Anchor Bay (especially the city of New Baltimore) is known for these tiny creatures and even has a festival for them. www.neoperceptions.com
