Qualifications and Experience • Attariq’s board of directors and management are a blend of elite professionals in the fields of Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Law, Graphic Design, IT and Business Administration. Their names are well known, and they were ranked among the best in their fields as they proved success in their current and past positions.

Attariq’s team managed to gain the trust of reputable clientele ranging from the public sector to the private sector to the non-profit organizations. • With time, Attariq’s directors sensed a market demand for Public Relations, Media Consulting. Success Stories • PR • Managing and executing nationwide PR & awareness campaign for Municipal Elections (wining PR man of the year 2005 award). • Advising King Abdulaziz Dialogue Center on 2nd and 3rd dialogue sessions in Makkah and Medinah. • Planning and executing investors awareness campaign for CMA. • Advising Dar Al Arkan to establish its position as a leader in real estate development and mega housing projects sector, and to plan and execute an ongoing campaign to lobby for Mortgage Law.

The first Saudi Municipal Election • Brief: The campaign was a huge undertaking, the elections where the first in the country’s history the mission was to execute in a short period of time a campaign that would embody a lasting impression in the audiences perception of the benefits of open elections and encouraging participation and voting and in due course our tasks where varied from audience education to specific issue trouble shooting • Approach: Develop a structured plan that emphasizes the importance of elections and the long lasting benefits gained by public participation in decision making • Delivery: Establishing and managing a Media Center to help channel and direct interaction between officials and local & international media representatives. Attarq’s CEO was appointed as official spokesperson, and in this capacity was interviewed by all media (local & international) affiliates. Organizing weekly press conferences and giving on the minute up-to-date to all concerned parties. Announce the final election results to the media. Prove to all observes local and international that the elections where done in a complete transparent and accurate form • Results: The huge turnout of citizens registering and voting was the ultimate achieved goal for the elections committee, but the added value was a wide positive international media coverage for the country.

PR Strategic Plan for Dar Al Arkan • Brief: As a leading company in the real estate sector in Saudi Arabia, our client Dar Al-Arkan needed to have repositioning of their brand, and enhances the housing finance’s laws & regulations environment. Furthermore, specifically the company required the facilitation of the mortgage system in order to sell their products of housing units targeting middle class citizens of the Kingdom. • Approach: Strategic PR Plan formulated to Dar Al Arkan with a clear path of how to present the company’s researches and studies in the housing sector to the opinion leaders and government officials defining obstacles, and raising issues that are facing housing developers in the Kingdom presenting world standard resolutions to increase the middle class affordability to buy housing units. • Delivery: Attariq worked on strengthen the relations for the company with the media as well as government officials, through conducting PR campaigns such as Housing Finance Campaign followed by the first Euromoney Saudi Arabia Housing Finance Conference, we also worked on uplifting the company’s participation in the local and regional industry events. • Results: Dar Al Arkan is truly regarded as The Leading Housing Real Estate developer in Saudi Arabia and the region among government officials and opinion shapers.109 pieces of press including 8 full pages, 72 press releases, 6 interviews, and 23 articles in just one year.

  10. Sultan Al Bazie, CEO • Sultan is CEO of Attariq Communications. With a degree in journalism from King Saud University, Sultan is a former Managing Editor of Al Riyadh and Editor in Chief of Al Youm newspapers. • He worked for five years at the Saudi embassy in Paris before becoming Director General of Public Relations for the National Guard & Head of Media Relations for the National Festival for Culture & Heritage, Janadriyah. • Sultan’s is an expert in regional media relations and has developed a network of contracts though out the region and has a deep understanding of the media landscape within the GCC. He manages a team of 12 PR professionals in our Riyadh office and growing. • He was elected recently as Executive Vice President for the International Public Relations Association Gulf Chapter (IPRA-GC)

Tariq Ibrahim, GM • He started his career as a writer and editor in the Al Youm Newspaper after he graduated with a bachelor degree in media specializing in press from King Saud University in Riyadh. He afterwards worked as a cooperative photographer for the (AFP) French Press Agency, and then he was appointed as the Managing Editor for Al Youm Newspaper in Dammam. • Tariq became General Manager of Dar Rawna for Specialized Media, getting appointed afterwards as the Chief Editor for the Al Usrah Magazine, then was appointed as the Chief Editor of Al Wattan Newspaper, his next position was the Chief Editor of Al Wifaq Electronic Newspaper. • Attended many official and public occasions in different parts of the world, and had interviewed many reputable personalities in these countries, covered many international conferences and events such as the Israeli's attack on the HQ of the Palestine Liberation Organization in Tunisia 1985, second Gulf War 1991, Balkan War in 1994. • Tariq is a known photographer organized two galleries in both Riyadh and Dammam showing the dark side of the world through the pictures he shot himself during the coverage of wars and starvation.

  12. Abdullah Al Sakit, Planning and Development • Abdullah started his teaching career after graduating from Kuwait University accomplishing a bachelor degree in Chemical Science. Then he moved to the private sector seeking a career in Sales & Marketing through Saudi and Kuwaiti companies, one of his roles was Customer Affairs Manager in a company called First Class PR, to Projects Manager in a company called Circle for Communication Integrated Services, and then he joined a company under the name of Z for Advertising and PR • He accumulated different training courses such as the Art of Negotiation, Art of Meeting, Strategic Planning, Conference Organization, Effective Leadership, Innovative Thinking, Team Work, Public Relations, Planning an ad, Accounting for non-accountants, Effective Marketing • He achieved different accomplishments in his career such as: increasing the revenue of his previous employers "Al Ro'aad Company" from quarter million per month to two million monthly in six months only. Founder member of First Class one of the founding companies of Circle for Advertising. He is also a considerable member of the planning team of Circle Communication and Integrated Services, Marketing Circle to the shareholders, He too is the main contributor to the planning and evaluating of Dar Al Arkan Company the leading real estate tycoon in K.S.A. since 2005 up to date.
