On April 2, 2013, the Sturgeon Bay School District held a referendum to exceed revenue limits for educational programming. This initiative aimed to address historical budget reductions and projected enrollment declines, impacting the quality of education. The proposal sought $1,000,000 for the 2013-2014 school year, increasing to $1,600,000 by 2015-2016 for non-recurring purposes. The funds would support essential educational resources amid ongoing state budget constraints. For more details on tax impacts and the budget forecast, please contact the school administration. ###
