Background • In 2013, TEPPC will create two Production Cost Model (PCM) datasets – 2014 and 2024 • Generation and Load forecasts are available for years between 2014 and 2024 • Electric topology forecasts are NOT available for years between 2014 and 2024 • But these can be obtained by comparing two powerflow cases

  3. 2014/24 PCMs based on 2013/23 Heavy Summer TSS Base Cases TEPPC 2014 Operating Case (PCM) TEPPC 2024 Common Case (PCM) 10-year Generation Forecast 11 Year*, Nodal PCM 2014 Load Forecast 2024 Load Forecast Electric Topology 2013 HS2-OP BASE CASE NOVEMBER 30, 2012 Electric Topology 2023 HS1 BASE CASE SEPTEMBER 18, 2012 *TEPPC studies will remain focused on the 10-year horizon (i.e., year 2024), whereas the other years will be available for all entities in the Western Interconnection as a starting point for studying years 2015-2023.

Next Steps • August 7-9, 2013 – TSS • ~Aug/Sept 2013 – Email request to SRWG w/ timeline, specifications, etc. • ~Oct 2013 – TEPPC review of projects • ~Oct/Nov 2013 – Request EPC files for notable projects • ~Nov/Dec 2013 – Receive EPC files • ~Dec 2013/Jan 2014 – Post EPC files for stakeholder use
