  1. You Should Know About 5069-OF8 Compactlogix and Modules The CompactLogix system is created to give a Logix solution for different sized applications. Most CompactLogix controllers are idyllic for small & mid-size applications. The applications are machine-level controller applications. The CompactLogix 5480 controllers, though, are more perfect for use in mid to big-size applications. 5069-OF8 Compactlogix are also usable for these applications. This CompactLogix platform carries together the profits of a mutual programming environment, shared networks, and shared control engine in a small footmark with high performance. United with Compact 5000 I/O modules, Compactlogix 1769 Compact I/O or the CompactLogix platform supports easy to more complex motion, with unparalleled power & scalability. A CompactLogix platform is perfect for systems that need standalone and system-associated control over ControlNet, EtherNet/IP, or DeviceNet® networks. For detailed features, see the following publications: CompactLogix Controllers Specifications Technical Data, publication 1769-TD005 Compact GuardLogix 5380, CompactLogix 5380, & CompactLogix 5480 Controllers Specifications Technical Data, publication 5069-TD002 CompactLogix 5380 controllers help allow quicker system performance, productivity, capacity, and safety to meet the rising demands of smart machines & apparatus for manufacturing. All CompactLogix 5380 controllers’ usage the Studio 5000 development environment, joining essentials of design into one standard outline that can enhance productivity and decrease time to commission. The CompactLogix 5380 controllers give configurable EtherNet/IP methods, that is, Linear/DLR mode or Dual-IP mode. When the controller works in Dual-IP mode, every port needs its own network configuration. The remaining stored energy of the 5069-L310ER-NSE controller reduces to 400 μJ or less in 40 secs. CompactLogix 5380 process controllers are extensions of the Logix 5000 controller family that emphasis on plantwide procedure control. The process controller derives configured with a default procedure tasking model & devoted PlantPAx® process instructions enhanced for procedure applications and that recover design & placement efforts. CompactLogix 5380 process controllers help motion, and are conformal covered for prolonged protection in harsh, eroding environments. Rocautomation is the perfect Automation Parts Store. They also have different modules. Local I/O Modules When Compact 5000 Input/Output analog modules exist in the same structure as the controller, the modules are local I/O modules.

  2. These Local I/O modules are mounted to the right of the controller & exchange data with the controller over the system backplane. Remote Input/Output Modules When this Compact 5000 I/O analog modules exist in a distinct location from Logix 5000 controllers, they are remote modules. These modules are available over an EtherNet/IP network by a Compact 5000 I/O EtherNet/IP adapter. The modules are mounted to the right of the adapter & exchange data across the remote system backplane. The data is then switched with the controller over the EtherNet/IP network. Each I/O module in a Logix 5000 control system must be possessed by a controller, also recognized as the owner-controller. When the Solid 5000 I/O analog modules are utilized in a Logix 5000 control system, the owner-controller achieves the following: Stores configuration data for each module that it possesses. Sends I/O module configuration data to describe module behavior & start operation in the control system. Can exist in a place that fluctuates from the Compact 5000 I/O system.
