Use data to make better decisions in our organization Collect appropriate data and analyze it in a meaningful fashion Improve quality of our services Get the data into the hands of the people who need it Increase efficiency and effectiveness

  3. Second Step Develop a description of our belief system Regardless of how good we are, we will strive to be better We are not asking you to do more with less; we want you to do things different Doing good is not good enough

I have learned that… • Transforming to a data-driven organization can take years to achieve • If the ED is not fully committed to the transformation, nothing happens • Using the 20/80 rule has been very helpful during the transformation process • Although NPOs do not have all the economic resources needed to embrace a transformation, there are partners who are waiting for an opportunity to help
