This activity involves analyzing a series of six photographs of a billiard ball taken from various angles. Each photo captures the ball's surface under different lighting conditions, offering a unique perspective. Participants are tasked with identifying the positions on a circle from which each photo was taken, drawing arrows to indicate direction, and labeling them with corresponding letters (A, B, C, D, E, F). This exercise enhances understanding of 2D and 3D visualization, making it a valuable learning tool in geometry and physics.

Billiard ball C D Six photographs, which are all shown on the next page, were taken of a billiard ball from different angles. The diagram indicates where the light was shining from. Indicate which position on the circle each photograph was taken from by drawing arrows to indicate direction and labeling them with the letters of the photos. The positions need not be very accurate, but you need to get the order right around the circle.
