The Accelerate Texas Project at Amarillo College is designed to support underprepared students, especially low-skilled young adults aged 16-26 seeking their GED. With 65% of AC students identified as underprepared and 60% living in poverty, our program offers targeted remediation and support through various I-BEST models. By focusing on contextualized instruction and building a supportive community, we aim to enhance academic performance and completion rates. Join us in reshaping futures through education and empowerment for all at-risk populations.
