  2. Moses • He was a great figure to the Jews, and he was the teacher in Hebrew. • The first five books of the Bible are traditionally ascribed to him. • Moses is the channel between God and the Hebrews.

  3. Abraham • He was the first Jew, he was also the founder of Judaism. • He rediscovered monotheism. • God put him to the test to have him sacrifice his son until an angel of God stopped him.

  4. Torah &Talmud • Torah means simply the “Teachings” and the Talmud means the “Learnings” • The Talmud was composed by the Rabbinic Sages with comprehensive knowledge of the Torah. Torah Talmud

  5. Different types of Jews • There are Orthodox, Reform, Conservative, Humanistic, and Reconstructionists

  6. Holidays in Judaism • They have Hanukah, Sukkot, Purim, Presach, Shavuot, Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kipper.
