  2. Welcome to Ybor City Campus Library http://content.hccfl.edu/library/yclrc

  3. Circulation Room The Circulation area, YLRC-201 holds all circulating materials. This is where you can get your HCC student ID/library card. Our Learning Lab is also located in this room .

  4. Circulation Desk The circulation desk is where you obtain your HCC student ID/library card, check out circulating materials, and use materials that have been placed on reserve for your class.

  5. Student ID/Library Card Library/student ID cards are issued at the Circulation desk.

  6. Reserve Books If your instructor has placed something on reserve for your class, it will be held at the Circulation desk for your use in the library.

  7. Leisure Collection The Circulation room includes bestsellers for your reading pleasure.

  8. Learning Lab We have a great collection of educational videos and DVDs in our Learning Lab, a number of which can be checked out.

  9. Library Resources The library has Circulating, Reference and E-books to help you with almost any research topic. To search for books you can use the library catalog or ask for assistance from one of our staff.

  10. Interlibrary Loans • If we don’t have the item you are looking for you can request materials from libraries across HCC and Florida’s community college system.

  11. Reference In the Reference area, room 202, you will find encyclopedias, magazines and newspapers. We also have computers for library and general Internet research.

  12. Research Computers & Wireless Services If you prefer to use your own computer, the library has wireless services. From the library’s web site you may access the catalog, online databases, and thousands of e-books.

  13. Class Visits Librarians provide research instruction for classes. They also help students one-on-one.

  14. One-on-One Assistance Students may obtain help from a librarian on a walk-in or appointment basis.

  15. Periodicals • Newspapers, magazines, and academic journals

  16. Special Collection • Enjoy a piece of history while visiting our Special Collections Room, YLRC-202 F. This room contains historical materials related to Ybor City, Tampa, and Florida.
