Instructions for Writing • Ensure that you use the following: • The introduction should establish an overall opinion of the collection of poetry • Your own original thoughts on the poetry • What are the views and values expressed in the poetry • A discussion of the positive and negative aspects of the poetry according to each reviewer • Explain if you agree/disagree with their comments. • Use direct quotations from the reviews to argue your own case regarding the poetry • Use at least three points from each review • Write in formal essay form
