  3. About my action: My topic is about counteract the air pollution by riding bicycle to school, I go to school at 6:15 a.m. and arrived at 7:05 a.m. the distance are 4 until 5 km, I think my speed when riding bicycle is 20 km until 40 km per 1 hour.

  4. My prior knowledge about air pollution: • Air pollution is killing living things • Some transportation produce pollutants as air pollutions • Many people are sick because of the air pollution • Trees obsorbsair pollution which contain CO2 • It can be produced from garbage • It hits the respiratory system • Air pollution is greenhouse gasses • The greenhouse gasses are methane, CO2 and CFC • It makes the ozone layers thicker

Why? • Yellow hat: what is the benefit riding bicycle related to air pollution? • Black hat: What problems that we get from air pollutions? • Green hat: What will we do to counteract air pollutions? • Blue hat: What did you think if the earth full of air pollution? Explain!

  6. Problem My mom and I usually go to school by car, but the distance is actually near. Many cars and motorbikes are going around, come here, come there but they don’t care about the earth. In 5 minutes there are around 200 transportation used based on my observation.

  7. BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE CHOSEN TOPIC: Air pollution is one of the pollutions, there are some invisible and some visible pollutions. Air pollution is very damaging the living things and the atmosphere, the main pollutants are from greenhouse gasses. Almost 60% pollutants such as methane, CO2 and CFC are produced by the air pollution. Many people are smoking that make our air polluted and also transportation pollutants can make greenhouse gasses that can make global warming to the earth.

  8. Answer of My Questions Thinking Hats • The air pollutions come from many things. It can come from the transportation, smoke, people and sometimes animal. • We feel upset because why we need to produce air pollution from what do we have and used such as car, many people smoking and lazy to riding or walking to other places. • ???????????????????? • Many people get sick because we breathe the polluted air, our ozone layers were has many hole because of the air pollution. • We need to riding bicycle or walking to school or somewhere to counteract the air pollution. • Bad, because we are a living things that need the fresh air, because of the air pollution wee breathe polluted air.

  9. Many people smoking and throwing rubbish everywhere so that makes gasses such as methane and CO2. Causes of air pollution People chopping down trees and the CO2 goes to the air easily, the trees need to absorb air pollution. People burn the rubbish and produce CO2. Wildfire. Factories produce gases The cars and motorbikes produce pollutants to the air such as CO2.

  10. Effect People migrate to other places which there are no air pollutions. Climate changes because pollution damages the environment People get sick because of the smog, which hit the respiratory system. Effects or impacts There is acid rain because when the water evaporates, it mixed with the smog. Animals need to migrate to other places and many animals died.

  11. Ways to counteract problem If all people riding bicycle, it will counteract the air pollution since it does not use any fuel and so we will be healthier. We need riding bicycle because many transportation usually produce air pollution like CO2 and using gasoline, we riding bicycle to saving gasoline too. Ways to counteract air pollution People must stop illegal logging and we need to planting more trees, we can recycle rubbish too so there will be not toomuchrubbish.

Riding bicycle is one way to reduce or counteract air pollution. • Riding bicycle can counteract air pollution because bicycle is a transportation without using any gasoline, so there will be no pollutant to the air. • Riding bicycle can make us healthier because it using the human power. • Riding bicycle can train our speed to make us faster.
