This program aims to improve the safety and security of senior citizens in Katowice, Poland, and prevent social and digital exclusion among them. It includes prevention awareness meetings, gadgets, and dissemination through media and community events.

Prevention Program posters: Safety of senior citizens at hospitals and healthcare units Don't Let Crime Happen! REMEMBER: Do not leave your personal belongings (purse, coat, shopping bags, etc.) in the waiting room at your doctor's office! If you are admitted to a hospital, hand over your valuables, documents, home keys, etc. to the local deposit for safekeeping! Do not leave anything valuable in your bedside cabinet when leaving for treatment or examination, or to the local cafeteria! If all patients leave your room for treatment or examination, have the hospital staff lock the door! Tell your visitors not to leave their belongings unattended! Watch out for strangers on hospital / clinic premises who loiter or act suspiciously. If you see them, alert the staff!
