  2. How We Built Our FirstBoat. First our team decided that we were going to be building the rubber band boat. We started with an empty milk carton, then we cut a hole in the side of the. “boat” That cut out part was our paddle . The paddle was used to be wound up and then when we let it go it would spin and make our boat go. Then we came up with a brilliant idea!!! We were going to add a balloon boat .(Bad idea…….) then we added 2 chopstick on the side of the boat that held a rubber band, we also put the paddle in the rubber band and wound it up.

  3. Problems We Had ;And How We Fixed Them! One problem we had was that when we wound up the paddle so it would spin it kept hitting the bottom of the boat and it would not turn anymore. Here is how we fixed the problem: we kept cutting down the paddle so that it would not hit the bottom of the boat. It worked! Another problem that we had was that the chopstick were sliding out of place. We thought of how we could fix the problem. The answer was clear we had to duck tape the chopsticks so many times.
