  3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS • MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS OF BROAD-BASED EXPERIENCE IN TENNIS COURT CONSTRUCTION • FOR INITIAL CERTIFICATION : • 1. 100 ELIGIBILITY POINTS • 2. 50% WITHIN LAST 3 YEARS • 3. 50% NO TIME LIMIT(3+…LIFE)

TENNIS ANSWERS • Question Number 1 – B (pg. 94 of manual) • Question Number 2 – D (36’ x 78’ / 9 = 312 s.y. at .10 = 31.2 gallons * 1.5 = 46.8 gallons) • Question Number 3 – B (204’ x 120’ = 24480 s.f. .28% slope in 120’ equals 4” fall 4” minimum thickness on the low side means 8” thickness on the high side. Therefore, the average thickness is 6”. 24480 * .5 * 150 / 2000 = 918 tons)

  14. RE-CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS • Eligibility Requirements • Must be actively engaged in the Industry • Must have 50 points in: • 1. 3 of the 5 areas on Eligibility Form • 2. For projects completed in Last 3 years. • Re-certify by Exam in lieu of points

  15. Re-Certification by Continuing Education • Must have 40 points within 3 year period • 1. 25 points must be from ASBA related activities • 2. Industry related articles • 3. Presentations / Seminars in Industry related programs aimed at owners, end users or interested parties. • 4. Participating in research in Tennis Courts

  16. IF CERTIFICATION EXPIRES • Points will NOT be accepted to regain certified status except in the case of Hardship • 1. Provide written documentation of the Hardship • 2. Explain in writing how the hardship prevented one from completing the process within the published timeframe • 3. Pay a fee of $50.00 for extension • 4. Must be submitted by Dec. 31st • 5. Extension will not be considered if filed after Jan. 31st
