In October 2012, a meeting in Ploiesti, Romania, facilitated by Martin Greenacre from Marriott's School, brought together participants to explore the concept of "Good Food, Good Mood". Using initial mind maps, the discussions delved into diverse aspects of food, including its origins, health impacts, and cultural significance. Key themes included sustainable food production, fair trade, nutritional considerations, and the interplay between diet and well-being. Participants examined how food shapes social interactions and culturally significant occasions across Europe, aiming to link appetite, health, and happiness.
