  1. Different kinds of rummy players – Players too have different hues! PLAY . Love . Win

  2. Online Rummy is a card game of skills that has evolved differently in different parts of the world, and has a splendid variety.

  3. First players They are quick with their moves. They could be aficionados of the game or those who have a very well developed ‘fast mind’ and can contemplate their steps and the consequences of those steps in the blink of an eye. You too could come in this category if you practice well. Play the game in routine and you can make others run for their money by thinking fast and acting even faster. In all probability, they experience the maximum adrenaline rush.

  4. Relaxing players • There are a lot of players who play the game for sheer fun, and enjoy every step of it. Winning or losing are not much of a concern to them. They are the ones who take the game as a game only and make the most of it by enjoying the journey, instead of just the destination. • They could be office goers or the elderly or homemakers, who take the game as a medium of relaxation. They can emerge victorious because they have a very calm state of mind and can think productively.

  5. Never-Say-Die Spirited Players As the name suggests, these players are not the ones who would easily give up. Actually, they don’t give up at all. Most rummy players prefer to drop the game when they spot that their hand is not good enough; which is the generally advised strategy. For instance, when the hand dealt does not have any joker cards, it is considered better to opt out. However, some adventurous players perceive that backing out is not their cup of tea. They tend to deploy out of the box approaches to turn the tide in their favour. They can, of course, win - because after all, rummy is a skill game!

  6. Tricksters • They are a really ingenious lot, who are the least bothered about victory and defeat in the game. Their aim is to enjoy by bluffing till the end, by pretending they have got a very good hand. • They do this by dropping such cards that give other players an illusion that they are about to win. This action of theirs sometimes propels their rivals to drop the game, which is what they want!

  7. The Essence • Some players might fall in a particular category, while the others might switch from one hue to another depending on their mood and situation. • Another thing that can be deduced from this information is that albeit it is advisable to exercise the drop option if you get a bad hand; you can still try to outwit your adversaries and win by capitalizing on smart strategies!
