  11. Course materials & reading lists Many courses use Moodle to disseminate materials Direct access moodle.bbk.ac.uk via link from ‘quick links’ on ITS, MyBirkbeck and Birkbeck home pages Check with your lecturer or your department about their use of Moodle
  12. Training Termly programme of workshops (including Word, PowerPoint, Internet Safety, Google) Book online (link on the mybirkbeck website) Drop-in sessions available through term-time Documentation on ITS website for self-training Web based training via Moodle

Networked Disk Storage Ensure your data is always backed up Initial allocation 250 Mb (check quota from the desktop icon) Use My Documents area, which is backed up regularly – backups can be retrieved using Windows Explorer Quota can be increased subject to requests via School representatives Use USB flash drives to store documents for use elsewhere; or use the VPN
