Mission Statement Entrepreneurship is more than the process of starting a business. It is about identifying, valuing, and capturing opportunities. An entrepreneurial mindset is crucial for all organizations — small or large, new or old, for-profit or not-for-profit. The mission of The Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center is to instill entrepreneurial thinking in all Columbia Business School students and to create a community of business practitioners with a lifelong commitment to achieving social and economic progress through entrepreneurship.
