  2. We would like to thank Hearts to Nourish Hope, Inc. for allowing us to host this event at their facility. We would also like to thank Kim Banks, from Childkind, for permitting our Wellness Consulting Team to work with the agency!

ChildKind was founded in 1988 by a group of concerned citizens to provide a home for children affected by HIV positive/AIDS. • A short term transition care home, a home for HIV positive mothers and their children, a daycare and short-term-out of home placement for mothers in therapy/treatment. • 1992- Obtained license to operate as a Child Placement Agency • 2008- Created its home based services program • To date ChildKind has provided over 400 special needs children with homes

  5. Our Purpose and Mission • Identify the health risk factors and health complications for Childkind Employees. • Development of Wellness Program recommendations that are reflective of the needs of the employees AND that are feasible, affordable, and sustainable!

  6. Methods and Approach • Obtained, mapped and analyzed employee demographics and zip codes • Researched and retrieved Georgia mortality and morbidity rates • Designed survey regarding the identified risk factor based on demographics.

  7. Methods and Approach • Determined specific health needs of employees based on survey results and assessed employee interest and willingness. • Development Wellness Programs recommendations that are reflective of the needs of the employees AND that are feasible, affordable, and sustainable.
