Diane’s executive clients have spanned sales, marketing, organizational development, market research, IT, and quality assurance functions in pharmaceutical, medical device, and retail industries, to name a few. During the 2011 inaugural HBA Leadership in Practice program, Diane facilitated one of 16 groups and was the Lead Coach. For the 2012 Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Leadership in Practice program she serves as one of the industry thought leaders and coaches. Strategic. Innovative. Results Driven. Diane has over 25 years of experience in progressively challenging leadership positions at Abbott Laboratories, enabling her to easily connect with her clients. In her organizational development roles at Abbott, she frequently inspired sales, marketing and quality assurance leaders to grow and develop. Recognized for her innovation, she led many cross-functional programs with a keen eye on bringing organizational value to the bottom line. Accomplished Speaker. As President of Horizon Leadership Strategies, Inc. (HLS), Diane was recently a keynote speaker at industry events, has strategized with leaders to enhance individual and team performance, and has led many career development workshops. She has addressed global audiences ranging in size from 5 to over 205 and enjoys communicating effectively with individuals of various backgrounds and specialties. Served her Country. With pride, Diane served in the US Regular Army and rose to the rank of Captain in the Adjutant General Corps. She was stationed in Fort Bragg, NC and Bamburg, West Germany before shifting to a civilian career. Educated. This warm and engaging executive holds a Master of Science Degree in business from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in mathematics from Hampton University.
