  1. Group 1 Project 6.6.1.

  2. Texting • Personal cell phones should be turned on silent and put away at all time. • Texting is prohibited during work hours; but may be used during break.

  3. Personal Email and IM • IM invites hackers into the network • Creates a risk of non-compliance to laws and regulations governing the use of electronic communications in business • Some employees might use it inappropriately • Using email incites viruses and spyware into the system • These two things are time consuming and aren't related to the job

  4. Youtube • Strictly forbidden during office hours. It has no practical application in the banking industry and may only be used during authorized breaks.

  5. Access to High-Quality Printers • Access to high-quality printers will be limited to the senior executives within the bank.

  6. Facebook • Should NOT be allowed on the job. • Not even allowed to access site at work. Why? -productivity; minutes turn to hours -malicious malware -illicit images -illegal content -time consuming activity -discrimination -confidentiality - NOT MENT FOR WORK PLACE

  7. Gaming • All gaming sites will be locked on company computer • Gaming will only be allowed on personal devices on breaks • Absolutely no gaming on company equipment • The games • Only work environment appropriate games will be allowed to be played at work. • Inappropriate games include violent or sexualy explicit games • Punishments • First two violations get a write up • Third will be one unpaid day off • Anymore violations will be handled based on the situation

  8. Internet Surfing and Shoping • No internet surfing or shopping on company computers • Reason don’t want distractions at work • Virousesfrom online • Employees may go on internet during breaks in the break from on own devices • Only allowed in break room so they can’t steal customer information
