  2. Introduction Students in Group 2 at Abbey Hill have been doing some ‘pond-dipping’ (using fishing nets to capture creatures that live in water). They then looked at the creatures they had caught. These included: • Tadpoles • Newts • Pond snails • Freshwater shrimps • Water beetles The pond is in the school grounds. Teacher: Kathryn Lindop
