  1. Abbey Hill School and Technology College WATER Seal Survey

  2. Introduction Students at Abbey Hill, who are following an environmental course, carried out a seal survey. They wanted to find out how many seals could be found next to the water on a stretch of sand called ‘Seal Sands’. In the photographs you can see the students checking pictures of seals, using telescopes and binoculars to look for seals and writing down their findings. The seals are lying quite close to busy roads and industrial areas of Teesside. Teacher: Kathryn Lindop
