RAFTA- AGM Committee Restructuring • Recognized need to align with BTA structure • Current Coaching Development & Base Support posts do not match BTA roles • Proposed new posts as follows: • RAFTA Development Officer • RAFTA Race Director • Base Support Representatives now become Regional Development Officers

RAFTA AGM- Development Officer • Communicate with BTA Development Officer • Co-ordinate Regional Representatives • Provide RAFTA coaching framework • 5 Year Coaching plan • Provide station club development structure • RAFTA Team Performance Direction • RAFTA Performance Plan • Liaise with Team Manager • Co-ordinate International, National and Regional Training events

RAFTA AGM- 5 Year Coaching Plan • Financial Provision • Develop coaching pyramid • RAFTA Coach Identification • Arrange BTA Level 1 and 2 and Level 3 courses • Development of RAFTA coaches • Support Station Club coaches • Mentoring links through TAGs • BTA/ RAFTA Regional Coaching Conferences

RAF Triathlon Development Coaching Pathway Player Pathway National Squad – One to one coach support Level 3 Coach – One located in the North and South Coaches to attend British Triathlon National Coaching Conference Regional Camp – Running quarterly training sessions, linked to regional committee training events Regional Coach to attend all Regional Committee meetings Level 2 Coach delivering training sessions in conjunction with Regional Committee Level 3 Coaches Station Club – Running at least one training session a week. All Station Clubs to attend County Triathlon Action Groups (TAG’s) All station clubs will have at least one Level 1 Coach and Level 1 Referee
