  2. The celebrations begin early in the morning. People wear shamrocks, the symbol of Ireland and green clothes.

  3. People do Irish dances and sing traditional songs.

  4. WHO WAS ST.PATRICK? He lived in the 4th century AD and he came from Wales. A group of men took him to Ireland and sold him as a slave. He escaped and went to a monastery in France. After some years he returned to Ireland to bring Christianity to the country. He died on 17th March 461 AD, since then this date is celebrated as St.Patrick's Day.
