  3. Customized Training Pilot | Overview • Passed in the 2013 legislative session • Addresses both short- and long-term manufacturing needs

  7. HECAP | Overview • Group and individualized counseling including career exploration and career assessments, resume preparation, mock interviews, and job search assistance • Connections to businesses and community resources through a local career fair, career event, and tours of businesses

  8. HECAP | Stearns-Benton Employment and Training Council • Received $40,000 • Working with the St. Cloud school district • 118 students served individually; many additional student served through work experience classes

  9. HECAP | Rural Minnesota CEP • Received $40,000 • Working with the Moorhead, Dilworth, Glyndon, and Felton school districts • 138 served individually

  10. HECAP | Northeast Minnesota Office of Job Training: EdVenture Program • Received $80,000 • 32 schools throughout six counties participated in the program in the fall of 2013 • 603 students received individualized, personal services

Better LMI | Summary of Progress and Plans • Much of our effort has been in developing post-secondary-to-employment data; planned launch of WDQI next month • Launch of new DEED web site caused us to rethink our presentation but expanded our possibilities • New data visualization tool will be used to improve presentation
