Overall View – AAP*Jan 2001 – 1 April 2003 • 445 Recommendations CONSENTED • 386 approved in Last Call with 18 pending • 30 approved in Additional Review with 4 pending • 4 approved by SGs with 2 pending • 3 not approved (2 approved later by TAP) • Average time from CONSENT to Notification of approval: 9 weeks *Alternative Approval Process GSC-8, Ottawa 28 April – 1 May 2003

  4. Comparison of TAP & AAP • 93% of Recommendations put into an approval process used AAP (2001- 88%; 2002 - 96%; thru 1 April 2003 - 99%) • Of these 478 Recommendations, approval has failed in only 2 cases: • One was withdrawn • One was discontinued GSC-8, Ottawa 28 April – 1 May 2003
