  6. Before BSA ID is Received

  7. Separate User Name when multiple users have the same email address

  8. Write Your Own Security Questions or Use the Stock Questions WRITE THEM DOWN!

  9. SUCCESS!

  10. Notice is received by email Use the link to complete access

  11. You will be asked to create a new password. WRITE IT DOWN!

  12. Now you can Sign In with your own User Name and Password

  13. Access E-Learning

  14. Select Course

  15. English/Spanish Option

  16. BEGIN TRAINING CAN BEN TAKEN INDIVIDUALLY OR PRESENTED TO A GROUP BY A TRAINING FACILITATOR

  17. Select Council and download Reporting Requirements

  18. Take or Conduct the Quiz Trainers Refer to the Facilitators Guide

  19. Select Council and Download Scout Executive’s Letter

  20. Enter Name and Unit Type & Number Before Printing Group Facilitators May Fill Name and Unit for Each Participant before clicking Next

  21. SAMPLE Youth Protection Training Certificate Must be attached to all new adult leader applications Effective June 1, 2010

  22. Participants may log-in again to MyScouting to confirm completion of course, review or view certificate

  23. With a BSA Member ID, Members may return to MyScouting adding a Member ID to their personal profile

  24. Updating MyScouting will apply On-Line Course credit directly to the Council’s Training Record in ScoutNet

  25. Youth Protection Training will be entered into ScoutNet at the same time as Approved New Adult Leader Applications DON’T REGISTER WITHOUT IT!
