  2. Activities in 2018-2019 • AGM was conducted on 3rd March 2018. • We planned to connect to all ISA members & we had 2 Hrs. lecture on leadership post lunch. Consolidated the database of 3000+ contacts. • Tech- Talks being conducted every alternate month • Functional Safety & SIL • PID Optimization • Data Integrity • Average 100 people attended each of the tech talks • We release monthly section news letter and circulate it to all our database.

Activities in 2018-2019 Automation community Get-Together : • Key decision makers from the Automation industry and end users. • Purpose was to increase awareness of ISA Pune section activities & improve involvement of Industries in & around Pune. • Promote Tech-talk as well as Conferences organized by ISA-Pune Section.

IIoT ConferenceHighlights • Attended by 220 delegates from various industries • Topics included • Keynote on “Unleashing potential of Industry 4.0 for business outcomes”. • Industry 4.0 for Process Industry • Digital Twin • IIoT in Pharma industry • OEE, Asset Performance Management • Cyber Security • Use cases from the end users and solutions providers. • Overwhelming response from sponsors like Siemens, GE, Unlimit, LDRA, Ascent Intellimation and Logicon

Activities in 2018-2019Students’ sections • Meeting with all Faculty Adviser of Student Sections. • Discussions on their expectations for ISA activities. • Calendar of ISA promoted events for each college with target month. • Active involvement of colleges for Section activities. • Main Activities for Student Sections: • Industry Expert Lectures. • Mentoring, Mock Interview, Carrier Guidance, ISA Student Scholarship. • Industry visit, Internship, project sponsorship from Industry. • Project Competition, Paper Presentation & IIOT conferences. • We are having quarterly meeting with Faculty Advisers & student section office bearers. • Having six Student sections & one in formation

  8. What Next… in 2018-2019 • Industrial IOT Conference 2019 for Students. • Target Audience – Students from various Engg. Colleges in and around Pune. • Being organized at CCWOE on 19-01-2019. • Automation community Get-Together . • Key Decision Makers from Industry. • Increase Awareness of ISA Pune section activities & improve involvement of Industries in & around Pune. • Improve Effectiveness of Tech-talk as well as Conference. • Promotion of ISA Standards like S88, S95, S99 through Tech-Talks • Industrial IOT Conference 2019

  9. Our Expectations • D14 Support for promotion of ISA Pune section Event at India level. Visibility at Corporate as well as Government official at very senior level. • Help us improve the memberships for Section. • Regular Update on all section activities as well as global updates. • Support from Industry verticals like Food & Pharma, Cyber Security.
