  4. What do you know about the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit

  5. Lots of Christians say they understand God as Father and Son better than they understand God as the Holy Spirit. Why do you think this is?

  6. 1 Then the LORD said to Moses, 2 "See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts- 4 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 5 to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship. (Exodus 31:1-5)

  7. 14 The LORD turned to Gideon and said, "Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian's hand. Am I not sending you?"… 34 Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet, summoning the Abiezrites to follow him. (Judges 6:14, 34)

  8. 14 As he approached Lehi, the Philistines came toward him shouting. The Spirit of the LORD came upon him in power. The ropes on his arms became like charred flax, and the bindings dropped from his hands. 15 Finding a fresh jawbone of a donkey, he grabbed it and struck down a thousand men. (Judges 15:14-15)

  9. The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me (Isaiah), because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,2 to proclaim the year of the LORD's favour” (Isaiah 61:1-2)
