  6. So what is a clause? A clause is a group of related words containing a subject and a predicate.

  7. We love English Language. He is the best. He ran a fast race. She opened the door. I love homework. A main clause can stand on its own as a sentence. A main clause is often called an independent clause, for obvious reason

A subordinate clause cannot stand on its own as a sentence. A main clause is often called an dependent clause, for obvious reason
