  1. Guidance Notes for Stargazing Bring your own Telescope / Binoculars / Tripod if you have them. Bring a “Red Light” torch (Easiest is a rear light from a bicycle). If not, bring a normal torch but cover the lens with with red cellophane. Do NOT shine any lights into people’s faces (it will destroy their night vision). Wear warm clothing as this is an outside event. Notes The club Security Lights will be switched off during the event. Lights in the clubhouse will be kept to a minimum. If you arrive late, please only use you car’s Side lights and PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY into the car park as this may be in use.
