  5. Schedule System Testing

  6. System Test Elements (1) • SFT warm (1st run on 19-Oct) (PACS-ME-TP-017) 1-2x • SFT HeI & HeII (PACS-ME-TP-017) 5-7x • IST program incl. RMS (PACS-ME-TP-021) • TB/TV Tests (PACS-ME-TP-021) X System Testing

  7. System Test Elements (2) • SVT-1 System Validation Test (PT-HMOC-OPS-PL-6204-OPS-OAH): “The purpose of the System Validation Tests is to test and validate the external interfaces from the MOC to the satellite, in closed loop, and to validate the satellite TM and TC database definition. The contents of the SVTs are designed to test these interfaces and the database with an increasing level of realism and complexity from one SVT to the next, making use of the satellite nominal and contingency flight operations procedures in the performance of the tests. Replacement or additional SVT specific procedures may also be required.”  consists for PACS at present of all manual procedures from the IUM, however it is unlikely that the “to-be-translated” mechanism and SFT procedures can make it into SVT-1 (is expected to be run be run at HeI, will require ICC participation) System Testing

  8. System Test Elements (3) • EMC Tests (PACS-ME-TP-032) • SOVT-1 System Operational Validation Test (PT-CMOC-OPS-PL-6212-OPS-OAH, draft 0.1): This will be a spacecraft End-to-End test of routine operations. It will involve the entire PACS ICC. Observations will be similar as for RMS test, but extended by selected AORs (RV & BA). Requires ICC@MOC and ICC@MPE. System Testing

  9. System Test Elements (4) • SVT-2 will be similar to SVT-1, but with lessons learnt, possible extensions and/or new procedures: Emphasis on “Extended Instrument Interface Validation and Extended Database Validation” • SOVT-2 will include eventually also more non-routine operations and eventually also more delivery processes. • Launch Campaign  content and PACS contribution TBD (i.e. just SFT like or more IST like ?) System Testing
