  4. Cold calling • Cold calling refers to phone a company to enquire about job opportunities which have not been advertised. The phone conversation is used to generate interest in you as a potential employee. The aim of the call is to get an invitation to send your CV.

  20. Objective • Tell your reader what you want. • “The more concrete your statement, the better.”

Educational Background • Please list yours in reverse chronological order. • Not necessary to mention your high school • Include your degree (e.g. Bachelor of Arts), your academic major, the full name of the institution, the city and country of the institution, and the expected or actual date of your graduation.

  22. Educational Background (Cont.) • If you have a minor, remember to list it, too. • Provide your grade if the average is above 80
