Conclusions About Data • There was a decline (-3%) in test scores throughout the district in both Reading and Mathematics in 2008. • Test scores rose from 2008 to 2009 in Reading (7%) and Mathematics (6%). • The State outperformed the District average in both Reading and Mathematics in 2009. • There is a smaller gap between the District and State scores in Reading (2%) than there is in Mathematics (4%).
