RFP – Scope of Services Parameters Per City Council’s Directions Mandatory Requirements • 2 x 1 x1 Pickup Per Week • Trash - 2 Days (including bulk and white goods) • Single Stream Recycling - 1 Day • Automated System Optional • Curbside Yard Waste Pickup - 1 Day • Manual Two-Man Crew Pickup Requirement for Solid Waste (No Automated System) • Recycling Rewards Program • Global Positioning Systems (GPS) equipment for all vehicles (Real Time) • Participation in Community Events/Education

  5. NEXT STEPS FOR CITY COUNCIL • Select Hauler • At Workshop on 1/10/12, Council directed staff to begin negotiations with Waste Pro • Choose from alternate pricing options • Adopt Contract

Alternate prices of #1 Ranked Proposer in addition to the Base Price of $18.47 • Waste to Energy Facility + $2.75 • CNG Collection Vehicles(-$.70) • CNG Fueling Facility + $.55 • Video/Cameras in Collection Vehicles + $.05 • Door Step Hazardous Waste Collection • Monthly per resident + $.30 • Charge to Resident Per Pick-up + $60.00 • Solid Waste Pick-up Once Per Week (-$1.25) Current monthly rate per resident = $20.32 (base price + current fuel surcharge)
