  3. the Old Testament ARK • The PREACHING • “Righteousness” • The PEOPLE (2 Types) • The SAVED = 8 • The UNGODLY WORLD = Majority • The PUNISHMENT • Ungodly NOT SPARED • God brought the Flood Water on them

  4. the Old Testament ARK 1 Peter 3:19-20 “by [the Spirit] also [Jesus] went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formerly were disobedient…in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water."

For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not knowuntil the flood came and took them all away…” 1 Corinthians 15:24 “Then comes the end, when [Jesus] delivers THE kingdom to God the Father”

THE FUTURE DAY OFDESTRUCTION 2 Peter 3:5-7 “…by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which [word] the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men..”

Only the Saved are in the NT ArkThe church of Christ ACTS 2:47, “And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” ACTS 20:28, “…the church of God which He [Jesus] purchased with His own blood.” EPHESIANS 5:25-27, “…Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle…but that she should be holy and without blemish.” COLOSSIANS 1:13, God “has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.” In the end, only the kingdom delivered to God (1 Cor. 15:24).
